Valentine's Day - Get Those Adult Fancy Dress Outfits On!

By Claire Burton-Wood

Let's face it, many of us love pretending to be someone else from time to time. We can act out a role and be that "other person"... if just for a while. When your life needs perking up then an adult fancy dress costume is a bit of innocent fun and could make all the difference!

Talk to any doctor or psychologist and they will tell you that a little fantasy role play can transform a relationship. They estimate that some 95% of adults engage in sexual fantasies at one time or another.

Valentine's Day is nearly here again and what follows Valentine's Day ... Valentine's Night! In any relationship things can get a triffle predictable so imagine the pleasure if your partner appears in the bedroom as a Sexy French Maid, Naughty Nurse or Saucy St Trinian's Schoolgirl.

The right outfit can transform you into a Saucy Sailor or Sassy Soldier, or take you to Paris and the Moulin Rouge. Just a few ideas but plenty of interesting possibilities ... Christine Aguilera or Cher from Burlesque, Uma Thurman and Demi Moore in camouflage kit ... the possibilities are (almost) endless ... and the mind boggles.

Those who has seen either of the recent St Trinians movies could not fail to be "stirred" by the thought of Talulah Riley, Gemma Anderton or Juno Temple with a hockey stick, straw boater and that unique St Trinians school uniform!

Anyones list of fantasy nurses or doctors conjures up one or two interesting scenarios to say the least. Fans of ER can choose from Maria Bello, Carol Hathaway, Alex Kingston and Ming Na or going a little further back, how's about 'Hot Lips' Houlihan from Mash or pre-Goldfingered Shirley Eaton in Carry on Nurse!!! My mind is positively swimming now.

Just use your imagination, get on the internet and check out all of the possible fantasy outfits that are available out there. There really is something for everyone. They come in all shapes and sizes and you can personally visit a fancy dress retailer or order online.

One recommendation I would make is, wherever you get it from, buy the outfit - don't hire it. These outfits are not very expensive, starting from less than 20, and by buying you have no late return fees, dry cleaning or repairs if the action gets frisky!
